(completely frustrated)
“When am I ever going to use algebra in MY life!?”

Mr. Lenaway, 10th Grade Pre-Algebra teacher:
“In the kitchen!  You need to know this if you want to become a Chef!”

Me:
(sitting in the back of the classroom, rolling my eyes, tapping my pencil on my assignment)
"Pfft!  Yeah, whatever!"


It’s funny because I kind of always knew that class, and that statement, would come back around to bite me in the ass.  Thanks for the lesson and the memory, Mr. Lenaway!
